Consumer Services and Personal Technology

We have a long track record in supporting retail technologies and the back-office needs of retailers – with work for bar code developer Symbol Technologies (now part of Motorola) for whom we showcased retail technologies beyond bar codes),, Zuzzim, and UNIT4 Business Software, and LED manufacturers Lumenpulse and Color Kinetics (now part of Philips Electronics).

For, the world's largest directory of home design products, we helped reposition the company and generate coverage that told that turn-around story in outlets that included the New York Times.

We helped launch Zuzzim, a nonprofit that has develops an online platorm designed to connect local customers with local business that support local nonprofits. Zuzzim was founded as a way to build local communities and raise money for other local nonprofit organizations – and is starting to roll out its platform to communities beyond its pilot community.

UNIT4 Business Software provides an ERP financial package as well as an accounting solution that is used across many sectors, including retail. Specifically looking at the retail sector, we've generated customer case studies in key retail outlets like Chain Store Age ("Maximizing Your Finance Data to Drive Your Retail Business" June 18, 2012) and Stores: ("Sowing the Seeds of Expansion" April 2012). We have helped uncover and tell customer case stories taking a multimedia approach (video, audio, still photos and text) to make them more compelling.

For Lumenpulse and for Color Kinetics, we launched new retail-specific products and customer case studies and installations. For example, for Lumenpulse, we highlighted the installation of LED lights as part of a turn-around story about an antiquated mall outside Chicago.

For Symbol Technologies, our experience includes launching dozens of new retail-specific technology, supporting Symbol at countless trade shows like NRF, and working with retail and national media, generating coverage in Fortune, the New York Times, New York Times Magazine, USA Today, and even generating media coverage that led to a joke by "Tonigh Show" host Jay Leno. (That's how you know you've generated mainstream coverage for a technology product.)
